What version is actually out?

I bought the game quite a while ago, and it would update every few weeks or so. It hasn't updated in a while, and I'm beginning to wonder if there's something wrong with the version check/update system. When I run the game, it says I'm running FULL Version #0.9.01. I'm running on a Windows based PC (Windows 7 if it matters).

that looks about right - further versions are test builds mostly focused at new stuff tesying plus some bugfixes. These were not released as some of the things changed a lot and could even lead to savegame corruption.
I think that the next puvlic uodate will be the gold release

Nothing's wrong with your updater - the next version will be gold edition, and then we can release periodic updates again. We put the patient on the table and started doing heavy surgery, so we can't send him out of the hospital again until we've put all the intestines back in place
We're almost done though! If you want to see the latest (semi-unstable) version, you can always sign up to be a tester by PM'ing me a request.
