Lord Warden's Harness+

What does it do? Specifically the "save vs. damage if HP >= 25%" part.

I tried it against the Hand (which is a LEFT hand, by the way, in line with the plot, the High Priest is the right hand) - and it killed my poor ice mage easily, seemingly doing its regular damage with each attack. While above 25% health the floating damage displayed something else next to the damage taken, but without eagle eye, I could not for the life of me read it.

EDIT: I managed to read it! It says 336 which is exactly damage-armour, 405-69, superimposed by SAVED! Nice save...

"Save vs. X if HP >= Y%" means:

If you take damage from a source that has the "X" damage flavor, and it would normally kill you, and your HP is greater than Y% of your Max HP, instead of dying, be reduced to 1 HP instead and stay alive.

So "save vs. damage" means survive any killing blow from any source if your HP is >= 25%. This only gives you one free shot, though, you'd better heal that unit back up past 25% before they get hit again :)

Ah, get it now.

In this case may I suggest that the "SAVED!" floating message only appear when you are actually saved from a killing blow, and in that case, only "SAVED!" is displayed (maybe in accentuated text like a "defensive critical"), not the actual damage number.
Benefits are twofold, first of all it stops the clogged up floating message and second, it is less confusing for the player.

That's what it's supposed to be doing, so the fact that it's displaying something else is the sure sign of a bug! Just a visual glitch, tho, so it should be pretty easy to fix.
